About BeforeGo

Last updated: October 26, 2026

BeforeGo is an AI itinerary planner for iPhone. You hand it a travel post, a link or your own notes, and it files them into a day-by-day trip plan; then it writes the packing list from your destination and dates, with the plugs, currency, entry rules and transit apps for where you are going.

In short. No account and no ads. Your trips are stored on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if you turn on iCloud sync or Backup. The AI features send content to a cloud AI provider only when you use one, such as the screenshots you import or a receipt you scan; the Privacy Policy lists each one.

Why it exists

Most trips start in other people’s posts: a screenshot of a four-day itinerary, a link someone sent, a list of places saved months ago. They end up scattered across the photo library and a dozen tabs, and the practical part — the adapter, the cash, the arrival form — is remembered at the airport. BeforeGo puts the plan and the preparation in one place, and reminds you 7 days, 3 days, 24 hours and 3 hours before you leave.

Who makes it

BeforeGo is made by go ka, an independent developer making small iPhone apps for everyday things, such as a countdown widget and an invoice maker. All of them are published under one App Store developer account, and the others are introduced on beforego.art.

What BeforeGo will not do

  • Pretend to be the embassy. Entry rules in the packing list are reminders to check, not official advice. Visa, health and safety requirements come from official sources, and the guides on this site link to the pages they were checked against.
  • Quietly invent places. Place names from an import are checked against the text in your screenshot, and anything it cannot find is flagged for you instead of being kept silently.
  • Need an account or show ads. You can start planning the moment you open it.

How this site is written

What the app does comes from its App Store listing and from the app itself. Prices are not written here, because the App Store shows the current price for your country before you pay. Travel rules in the guides are checked against official pages, which are linked next to each rule, and dated so you can tell how fresh they are.
