Importing a guide

What can I import?

Screenshots of a travel post, pasted text, a link, or plans you type yourself. BeforeGo files what it finds into the trip: to-dos join the packing list, places join the trip checklist, and each day joins the plan. A scanned ticket or booking confirmation lands on the plan too.

Is my screenshot processed on my iPhone?

Partly. Text recognition runs on your iPhone, but turning what you add into a plan uses a cloud AI provider, and only when you ask for an import. Photos are resized and re-rendered on your device before they are sent, which removes metadata such as GPS location. The Privacy Policy names the providers.

A place in my plan looks wrong. What should I do?

Place names are checked against the text BeforeGo found in your screenshot, and anything it cannot find there is flagged for you to double-check instead of being silently kept. Every import is listed under its trip, and any line it added can be removed.

Can I rely on BeforeGo for visa or entry rules?

No. BeforeGo is made for personal travel organization and does not replace official visa, safety, health, airline or government guidance. Always check important requirements with official sources before you travel.

Your trips and your data

Do I need an account?

No. BeforeGo works without an account and has no ads.

Where are my trips stored?

On your iPhone. Trip content may also be included in your own iCloud data when you turn on iCloud sync or iCloud Backup, according to your Apple settings. BeforeGo does not keep your trips on servers of its own.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete trips, notes, memories and checklist items inside the app. Deleting the app removes what it stores on that iPhone.

BeforeGo Premium

How do I restore my purchase?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought Premium with, open the Premium screen in BeforeGo, and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel a subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose BeforeGo. You can also open your App Store subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
